Heritage offers free before- and after-school care for first through eighth-grade students. Care is available starting at 7 a.m., an hour before school opens, and after school until 6 p.m.

The mission of Heritage’s before- and after-school care is to provide students with:

• An inclusive child care program that is safe and nurturing in a comfortable, familiar environment.
• An enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual and social development of each child.
• A program that eliminates the need for added transportation expenses.

The after-school program provides teacher-assisted homework help and tutoring for the first hour. Then kids enjoy fun activities such as arts, crafts, technology as well as sports and outdoor activities to enhance health and fitness. Friday is movie day!

The program is available until 6 p.m. every school day. After-school snacks are provided.
